Weekly Update: March 3, 2026 (v1.11.0)

This week marks a major release with Teams and Projects now available in Compass, complete with risk management capabilities. We've also shipped significant improvements to Connect and challenge handling.

What's New

Teams and Projects in Compass

  • Teams page – Champions can now promote or demote team members via the star icon in the member management modal. Champion badges appear on team member pills, and each team card has a “View Dashboard” button.

  • Team dashboard – View member count, active projects, and open risks at a glance. See a full members list with champion badges, plus a competency table showing each person's challenges completed, average quiz score, and content completion percentage (visible to champions, admins, and owners).

  • Project detail – Projects now feature a Compass workflow stepper (Align → Implement → Sustain) driven by the project step. Control step advancement, pause, resume, or complete the project. A new Risk Register lets teams add, edit, and delete risks with impact level, owner, mitigation plan, and accepted/resolved status.

  • Compass page redesign – Users who belong to teams now see “My Teams & Projects" as the primary view, with project cards grouped by team. Teams and projects load independently of organisation context, so regular members no longer need to navigate via the org admin route. Project cards now link directly to the project detail page.

  • Compass survey – Authenticated users who retake the survey now see a “Save Results" button instead of a registration form, so they can save their results without creating a duplicate account.

Connect Improvements

  • Skeleton loaders – Replaced loading spinners with skeleton placeholders that match the page layout for a smoother experience.

  • Compact content cards – Content cards are now more compact, with duration and points shown on the thumbnail.

  • Inline media – PDFs, videos, audio, and images in challenges now display inline instead of requiring an external link.

Other Additions

  • Video conference background on the Style Guide page
  • Team member cards on the About page now link to their blog articles

Improved

  • Challenge cards now show item count and mode (sequential or any order) instead of redundant completion count
  • “Mark Complete" button in challenges now advances to the next item automatically (“Complete & Next")

Fixed

  • Hover outline on challenge content items now covers the full expanded area
  • Catalyst task lists on mobile now support pick-and-place reordering: tap the grab handle to pick a task, scroll to position it, then tap Place to confirm
  • Compass project cards on mobile no longer clip the status badge and progress percentage
  • Compass project detail page no longer causes a horizontal scrollbar on mobile
